FOR YOU is BTS’s first original Japanese single, released on June 17, 2015, under Pony Canyon. The track blends emotional pop melodies with BTS’s signature hip-hop elements, showcasing the group's versatility in the Japanese market. Upon release, FOR YOU debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Singles Chart, marking BTS's first chart-topping single in Japan. The single was later included in their Japanese studio album YOUTH (2016), further cementing their presence in Japan. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of their Japanese debut, a limited edition 12-inch vinyl of FOR YOU was released on June 19, 2024, featuring a remastered version of the title track and "Let Me Know (Japanese Ver.)"
