First ‘LOVE & LETTER is SEVENTEEN’s debut full-length studio album, released on April 25 2016 through Pledis Entertainment. The ten track project explores themes of first love youth and affection with upbeat melodies and unit harmonies. Lead single Pretty U offers an energetic pop sound and catchy choreography that won the group their first consecutive music show wins. Other tracks like Chuck, Still Lonely, Hit Song, Say Yes, Drift Away, Adore U (Vocal Team Ver.), Mansae (Hip Hop Team Ver.), Shining Diamond (Performance Team Ver.) and Love Letter highlight unit works and member writing contributions across the album. First ‘LOVE & LETTER charted high internationally, entering the Billboard World Albums chart and the Heatseekers Albums chart, and showed strong pre sale and first week sales. The release resonated powerfully with their fandom Carats and helped solidify SEVENTEEN’s identity as a self producing group.
