Scars / Thunderous is Stray Kids’ second Japanese single, released on October 13, 2021 via Epic Records Japan and JYP Entertainment. This double title release features the emotional Japanese original Scars and a Japanese version of Thunderous, both co-written by the in‑house 3RACHA team. The single debuted at number two on the Oricon Singles Chart with strong first‑week sales, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, expanding STAYs’ presence in the Japanese market. The track Call is included as a B‑side, while the regular edition also features a bonus version of My Pace in Japanese. The various editions include DVDs, zines, photobooks, and collectible photo cards, making this release a standout for collectors.
