PLAVE - HYPERDRIVE - PLBBUU Version

PLAVE released their fifth mini album, HYPERDRIVE, digitally on October 12, 2026, through VLAST, with the physical edition following on October 13. The five-track K-pop release marks the beginning of a new chapter after their ASTERUM trilogy and Caligo series. Built around a racing-inspired concept, the album explores personal growth, changing perspectives, and the importance of reflecting on the journey rather than simply moving forward.

The title track, "Star Trace," combines electronic dance-pop production with an uplifting atmosphere. Opening track "꾼 (GGUN)" introduces smooth bossa nova rhythms and jazz-influenced vocals, while "푸른 하늘에 단비 (Sweet Rain)" explores a contrasting rock sound. "The Answer Is Yes" brings a brighter pop approach, and "Rewind" closes the album with reflective R&B influences. The members participated in songwriting and production, with KENZIE and KZLAB also contributing to "Rewind."

Following Caligo Pt.2, HYPERDRIVE expands PLAVE's musical identity through contrasting genres and more introspective storytelling. Its combination of energetic arrangements and reflective themes demonstrates the group's continued artistic development. For PLLI, the mini album represents another stage in PLAVE's evolving discography and their creative journey as a virtual K-pop group.
