LISA - Press Play

LISA returns with PRESS PLAY, a six-track EP scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, through LLOUD Co. and RCA Records. Following her debut full-length album, Alter Ego, the project places her Thai roots and personal journey at the centre of its presentation. The BLACKPINK rapper and singer introduces the release through “SaWaDiKa,” a lead single whose title draws on the Thai greeting for “hello.” With “Tarantino” confirmed as the title track, PRESS PLAY brings together a concise selection of songs for a release framed around remembering her beginnings while continuing to develop her solo identity.

“SaWaDiKa” provides the clearest introduction to the EP’s musical direction, foregrounding LISA’s rap delivery and hip-hop sound. Produced by Thom Bridges and Ojivolta, the track connects that approach with a video filmed in Bangkok, where location, choreography, and styling reinforce its relationship to her home country. The announced tracklist also includes “V12,” “Cobra,” “Tarantino,” “Cut U Off,” and “Sweat.” With the complete EP still awaiting release, detailed musical information about these remaining songs has yet to be confirmed, leaving the lead single as the established reference point for the project’s sound.

PRESS PLAY continues LISA’s solo catalogue with a more explicitly personal framing than Alter Ego’s introduction of multiple performance personas. Its emphasis on Thailand gives the project a specific cultural connection, while the six-song format offers a focused addition to her discography. The EP also arrives during a period that includes her documentary Always Lalisa and preparations for the VIVA LA LISA residency in Las Vegas. For fans collecting her solo releases, it documents a stage in which her recording career, personal history, and expanding live performances come together around an identifiable individual perspective.
