JAY B - Chptr. 1 - Honeydew Version

JAY B opens a new solo series with Chptr. 1, his third single release, scheduled for October 27, 2026, through 528Hz. Following “Switch It Up” and “흔들의자,” this two-song single album begins a sequence designed to unfold alongside his full-length albums and EPs. Its chapter-based concept gives the GOT7 member another space to explore his musical interests, introducing a continuing series through a compact release.

The album brings together two songs with contrasting moods and musical colours, highlighting different sides of JAY B’s artistry within the same project. The official introduction emphasises his freedom to move beyond established frameworks, making that contrast central to the release. Individual song titles and detailed descriptions have not yet been announced. Concept photographs, a mood film, music video teasers, and performance content form the promotional rollout, gradually introducing the atmosphere of this opening chapter.

Chptr. 1 follows his third mini album, TR.EE, and its title track “Layback,” released in June 2026. It also arrives after his tape: roots tour, which took him to five Asian cities and six cities across the United States. Against that backdrop, the single continues an active year of recording and live performance while establishing a new thread in his catalogue. For fans following JAY B’s solo discography, it offers the starting point of a series intended to develop across future releases.
