ALL(H)OURS - WITNESS

WITNESS is the second mini album by ALL(H)OURS, released on July 2, 2024 through EDEN Entertainment. Coming six months after the group's debut, the five-track release shows a rougher and more intense side of ALL(H)OURS, built around the ambition and energy of a rookie group. The album opens with the techno and rave-inspired “WITNESS” before moving into the title track “SHOCK (도깨비)”, which combines K-pop with Drift Phonk for a heavier, more aggressive sound.

The rest of the album keeps that high-energy direction while giving the members room to explore different styles. “PSYCHO MANTRA” takes a darker, hip-hop-driven approach with distorted vocals and a strong rap presence, while “'Bout That Issue” brings a smoother balance between vocals and rap. The closing track “Blah Blah” blends hip-hop and EDM and is especially notable because all seven members participated in writing the lyrics, using the song to express their ambition and desire to stay true to themselves.

With its five tracks, powerful production, and clear focus on performance, WITNESS captures ALL(H)OURS at an important point early in their career. The contrast between the intense title track, darker hip-hop influences, and more balanced B-sides gives the mini album enough variety while keeping the group's energetic identity at its center.
