BOYNEXTDOOR released their debut single album WHO! on May 30, 2023 through KOZ Entertainment with distribution by YG PLUS. As the group's first official release, the album introduces BOYNEXTDOOR's youthful identity through a relatable story of first love, capturing the excitement, nervousness, and sincerity of emotions that anyone can experience. WHO! marks the beginning of the group's "First Love" trilogy while establishing the fresh and approachable style that defines BOYNEXTDOOR.

WHO! features a bright blend of pop, teen pop, and rock inspired sounds that highlight the members' expressive vocals and natural charm. Through its three title tracks, the album follows the journey of falling in love, building the confidence to confess, and expressing heartfelt feelings. Members Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak participated in the songwriting and composition, showcasing BOYNEXTDOOR's creative involvement from the very beginning of their career.
