CHUU - Strawberry Rush

Strawberry Rush is CHUU’s second mini album, released on June 25, 2024 through ATRP. Following her solo debut with Howl, the release presents a brighter and more playful side of CHUU, built around the image of a quirky heroine racing toward victory. Its cheerful concept and confident message highlight the continued expansion of her musical identity as a solo artist.

The title track Strawberry Rush combines energetic pop with a fast-paced sound designed to evoke the feeling of rushing along a rail, matching the album’s lively hero-girl concept. Honeybee adds a sweet and breezy contrast, while Daydreamer and Lucid Dream explore softer, dreamier moods that showcase CHUU’s lighter vocal color. Chocolate brings a more playful pop feel and is also included in an English version, giving the six-track mini album a varied but cohesive flow.

Strawberry Rush reached No. 12 on the Circle Album Chart and recorded over 55,000 cumulative sales in Korea, marking another strong step in CHUU’s solo career. The album also received international attention, reaching No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart on its release day.
