(G)I-DLE - 2 - POCAALBUM Version

2 is the second full-length album by South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, released on January 29, 2024 through CUBE Entertainment. The album followed I feel and marked the group's first Korean studio album since I NEVER DIE in 2022. Built around themes of confidence, independence, love, and trusting your own instincts, 2 continues (G)I-DLE's reputation for bold concepts and strong creative involvement from the members.

The eight-track album is led by “Super Lady,” a powerful pop track built around an empowering message of confidence and self-belief, while the pre-release single “Wife” takes a playful and provocative approach to expectations surrounding relationships and domestic roles. “Revenge” delivers a darker, more assertive sound centered on overcoming betrayal, while “Fate” offers a contrasting, more melodic perspective on unexpectedly falling in love. “Doll,” “Vision,” “7Days,” and “Rollie” further explore different sides of confidence, relationships, and personal freedom, giving the album a varied mix of pop, hip-hop, and electronic influences.

2 further established (G)I-DLE as one of K-pop's prominent self-producing groups, with the members participating in writing and composing all eight tracks. The album became another major commercial success for the group, surpassing one million copies sold and reinforcing their growing position in the global K-pop scene. For Neverland, 2 remains an important release that captures (G)I-DLE's confident identity and creative independence during one of the group's most successful periods.
