I trust is the third mini album by South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, released on April 6, 2020 through CUBE Entertainment. Following I AM and I MADE, the album centers on the message “I trust myself,” presenting a confident and self-assured side of the group. It also followed their successful appearance on the survival show Queendom, where their performance of “LION” helped build anticipation for their next comeback.

The five-track I trust opens with title track “Oh my god,” an urban hip-hop song incorporating trap and pop elements, with dramatic production that reflects the album's darker and more intense atmosphere. “Luv U” combines hip-hop and EDM with a more mysterious sound, while “Maybe” brings a lighter, rhythmic contrast before “LION” returns with its powerful, commanding energy. The album closes with an English version of “Oh my god,” expanding the release's appeal to international listeners.

I trust further established (G)I-DLE's distinctive identity through bold concepts, adventurous production, and strong creative involvement from the members, particularly leader Soyeon, who wrote the lyrics for all five tracks and co-composed each song. Released in both True and Lie versions, the mini album became an important early release in the group's discography and remains a notable album for Neverland.
