i-dle - We are - Standard Version

i-dle's We are is the group's eighth mini album, released on May 19, 2025 through CUBE Entertainment. The album marks their first full release following the group's rebranding from (G)I-DLE to i-dle, beginning a new chapter while keeping the five-member lineup of Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. For NEVERLAND, the six-track mini album combines the group's familiar confident attitude with a more playful and polished sound.

The title track “Good Thing” leans into retro electropop and playful dance-pop, while “Girlfriend” takes a cheekier approach to love and relationships with a pop-rock edge. “Love Tease” and “Chain” explore a smoother, more flirtatious side of i-dle, with MINNIE participating in the writing and composition of “Chain.” The album also highlights the growing creative contributions of all five members, including YUQI on “Love Tease,” MIYEON on “Unstoppable,” and SHUHUA on “If You Want,” giving the release a distinctly collaborative feel.

We are was well received as i-dle's first new music following their name change and quickly became another commercial success for the group. The mini album surpassed one million copies in sales in South Korea, continuing i-dle's run of million-selling releases. With its successful rebranding, strong sales, and increased participation from all five members, We are represents an important milestone in i-dle's career and a fresh beginning for NEVERLAND.
