IVE - LOVE DIVE - JEWEL Version

LOVE DIVE is IVE’s second single album, released on April 5, 2022 through Starship Entertainment. Following their successful debut with ELEVEN, the release continued to establish IVE’s elegant and confident image while exploring the excitement and boldness of falling in love. With YUJIN, GAEUL, REI, WONYOUNG, LIZ and LEESEO, LOVE DIVE became a defining release in the group’s early career and helped solidify their growing presence in K-pop. 

The title track LOVE DIVE combines dark pop and electropop with rhythmic bass, synths and a memorable vocal hook, presenting a modern interpretation of Cupid and encouraging listeners to dive into love without hesitation. The B-side ROYAL offers a more luxurious and playful mood, built around confident lyrics and a sleek pop sound that highlights another side of IVE’s early musical identity. Together, the two tracks create a compact release that feels both elegant and self-assured. 

LOVE DIVE became a major breakthrough for IVE, topping the Korean album chart and eventually surpassing one million copies in South Korea. The title track topped the Korean digital chart for four weeks and earned 10 music show wins, while also receiving major Song of the Year awards at ceremonies including the MAMA Awards, Melon Music Awards, Asia Artist Awards and Golden Disc Awards.
