JIHYO ZONE is the debut solo extended play by South Korean singer Jihyo of TWICE, released on August 18, 2023 through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. Issued digitally and in multiple physical versions, this first solo project marked a major milestone in Jihyo’s career as she stepped forward with her own music outside of the group context following nearly a decade of activity with TWICE.

The EP explores a broad musical palette blending R&B, dance-pop, alternative pop and contemporary production styles, showcasing Jihyo’s rich vocal tone, rhythmic sensibilities and artistic versatility. Across the collection, she participates in writing and composing many tracks, incorporating layered melodies, soulful textures and stylistic diversity that spotlight both energetic and introspective facets of her solo artistry beyond her group work.

ZONE achieved significant commercial success and critical recognition, debuting at number one on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart with strong first-week sales and earning placements on international charts including the US Billboard 200, making Jihyo one of the few female K-pop soloists to chart so highly. The album deepened her connection with fans by highlighting her personal musical identity and solidifying her presence as a solo artist within the global K-pop landscape.
