FACE is the debut solo mini album by BTS member Jimin, released on March 24, 2023 through Big Hit Music. The album reflects Jimin’s personal emotions and inner struggles during the COVID 19 pandemic, exploring themes of loneliness, identity, and self reflection. The era was promoted with the singles Set Me Free Pt. 2 and the title track Like Crazy, presenting a powerful and emotional concept that highlights a more vulnerable side of the artist.

The album blends pop, hip hop, and R&B influences that showcase Jimin’s expressive vocals and storytelling. Led by Like Crazy, the release includes standout tracks such as Face-off, Alone, and Interlude: Dive, forming a cohesive narrative about confronting inner fears and searching for liberation. Across its six tracks, the project highlights Jimin’s artistic growth while delivering a polished and introspective solo sound.

FACE achieved major commercial success and set historic milestones for a Korean solo artist. The album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 with about 164,000 equivalent album units, becoming the highest charting debut by a Korean soloist at the time. It also sold over one million copies on its first day in South Korea and more than 1.45 million copies in its first week, breaking records for first day and first week sales by a solo artist on the Hanteo Chart.
