JIN - Echo - Standard Version

Jin Echo is the second solo extended play by South Korean singer Jin of BTS, released on May 16, 2025 through BIGHIT MUSIC. Issued digitally and in multiple physical editions, the seven track project followed his debut solo EP Happy and marked a new chapter in his solo career after returning from military service. The album was introduced with the lead single Don’t Say You Love Me and was released alongside the launch of Jin’s first solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, further expanding his activities as an independent artist.

The EP blends pop rock, Brit rock, pop punk, alternative rock, country rock and synth pop influences into a sound that reflects Jin’s growing artistic identity and passion for band oriented music. Through warm melodies, emotionally driven vocals and expressive instrumentation, Echo explores themes of love, personal reflection, everyday emotions and human connection. The project emphasizes sincerity and relatability, with Jin contributing to the creative process while presenting a more mature and introspective musical direction compared to his previous solo work.

Echo achieved major commercial success and became the highest charting solo release of Jin’s career, debuting at number three on the US Billboard 200 and entering major international album charts. Fans and critics praised the album’s emotional depth, cohesive rock inspired sound and Jin’s vocal performance, while ARMY strongly embraced the project’s heartfelt themes and musical growth. The release further solidified Jin’s position as a successful solo artist and strengthened his global presence beyond BTS group activities.
