M.O.N.T - Somewhere Out There - DIGIPACK Version

Somewhere Out There is M.O.N.T’s fifth mini album, released on January 4, 2025 through FM Entertainment. The four-track release follows their 2024 mini album IDGAF and continues the musical direction of Narachan, Bitsaeon and Roda with a blend of pop rock and modern rock. The album explores themes of distance, movement and memories, creating a reflective yet hopeful atmosphere around the idea of searching for something beyond where you are now. 

The title track OMW, short for “On My Way,” carries an uplifting sense of moving forward and finding your own path, while Double Triple brings a more energetic and rhythmic pop-rock sound. SPEED turns that momentum into a fast-paced, determined track, whereas When Winter Comes slows everything down with a sentimental story about memories of someone who is no longer there. Written and produced by Roda, the songs give the album a cohesive progression from movement and excitement to nostalgia and longing.

Somewhere Out There marked another step in M.O.N.T’s return to regular group activities after their long break between releases. The album was released in Photobook, Digipack and individual KiT versions, with the physical editions offering exclusive photo collectibles alongside the music. It also brought When Winter Comes, originally released as a digital single in December 2024, into a physical album release, making the mini album a meaningful addition to M.O.N.T’s discography.
