SPUR’s May 2025 issue features IVE’s REI as the cover star, marking her first solo appearance and first solo magazine cover for SPUR. Released on March 22, 2025, the issue presents REI in an elegant Valentino Garavani fashion pictorial, pairing a dreamy visual concept with an interview focused on her individuality, ambitions, and the qualities that make her uniquely herself. The issue’s main theme, “Dream 7days Mode,” explores a colorful spring wardrobe designed to bring a sense of joy and personality to everyday dressing.

REI’s feature offers a more personal look at the IVE member beyond her group activities, with the fashion editorial highlighting different sides of her style and personality. She appears in Valentino looks ranging from an elegant silk dress and wide-brimmed feathered hat to more playful and nostalgic styling, while the accompanying interview discusses her goal of appearing on a magazine cover alone, her aspirations for the future, and her gratitude toward DIVE. The issue also explores spring fashion through seven days of styling, from modern office looks and activewear combinations to statement pieces and high jewelry.

The May 2025 issue marks an important editorial milestone for REI, as the solo SPUR cover was one of the goals she had hoped to achieve during 2025 and was realized earlier than expected. Alongside REI’s feature, the issue includes an exclusive interview with designer Marc Jacobs following his first visit to Japan in 19 years, as well as a feature with Japanese Breakfast's Michelle Zauner and a special-edition cover featuring Matsuda Genta. For DIVE, the issue offers a particularly personal fashion feature centered on REI and her individual identity as a member of IVE.
