TWICE Between 1&2 is the eleventh Korean extended play by South Korean girl group TWICE, released on August 26, 2022 through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. Issued digitally and in multiple physical versions following the group’s contract renewal, the EP features Talk That Talk as its title track and represents a transitional moment in TWICE’s discography that reflects both artistic continuity and evolution.

The project blends vibrant K pop and dance pop influences with touches of retro and contemporary production styles, showcasing layered hooks, energetic rhythms and varied vocal textures that highlight the group’s musical versatility. Member participation in songwriting across several tracks adds personal artistic depth, while the title song delivers catchy synth-driven pop that balances fun and confidence within the EP’s compact collection.

Between 1&2 achieved strong commercial performance and historical milestones, exceeding one million pre-orders before release and debuting at number two on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart as well as number three on the US Billboard 200, making TWICE the first K pop girl group to place three different albums in the top ten of the chart. The era strengthened TWICE’s global presence and deepened their bond with their fandom ONCE through its celebratory energy and chart achievements.
