TZUYU abouTZU is the debut solo extended play by Taiwanese singer Tzuyu of TWICE, released on September 6, 2024 through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. Issued digitally and in multiple physical versions, the mini album marked Tzuyu’s first solo release nearly nine years after debuting with TWICE and introduced a more personal artistic direction centered around her identity and individual musical style. The title abouTZU combines the word “about” with her name, symbolizing a project that reflects different sides of herself beyond her image as TWICE’s maknae.

The EP blends dance pop, synth pop, contemporary pop and softer emotional textures that showcase Tzuyu’s delicate vocal tone and evolving artistry. Led by the title track Run Away, the project explores a more mature and expressive sound through layered melodies, atmospheric production and reflective themes that balance elegance with emotional vulnerability.
