XODIAC - Alibi

XODIAC released their fourth single album, Alibi, on November 11, 2025, through One Cool Jacso Entertainment. The release marks another step in the South Korean boy group’s musical development, exploring themes of growth, self-awareness, and the courage to confront the truth. Built around the contrast between night and day, shadow and light, Alibi presents a more mature emotional direction while allowing XODIAC to retain the polished performances and expressive vocals that define their K-pop identity. The single album offers a cohesive concept centred on facing difficult feelings and finding the strength to move forward.

The title track “Alibi” combines powerful rhythms with dramatic musical development, creating an intense atmosphere that reflects the struggle to confront the truth and break free from emotional constraints. Its driving production gives the song a strong sense of momentum, while the members’ performances reinforce its themes of inner conflict and determination. In contrast, “Sun Hits You” brings a brighter, warmer mood through its lively piano rhythms and refreshing pop-dance sound. Its light melodies and sincere vocal delivery evoke the energy of sunlight and the excitement of youth, creating a striking contrast with the darker intensity of the title track. Together, the two songs balance emotional depth with an uplifting sense of possibility.

Alibi showcases XODIAC’s versatility through its contrast between dramatic intensity and refreshing optimism, presenting two complementary perspectives on emotional growth. The single album builds on the group’s earlier releases while highlighting a more developed approach to storytelling and musical atmosphere. By pairing the powerful sound of “Alibi” with the warmth of “Sun Hits You,” XODIAC creates a release that moves between introspection and hope. For fans of XODIAC and K-pop, Alibi is a compelling addition to the group’s discography, highlighting their evolving musical identity and expressive performance style.
