XODIAC - ONLY FUN - POCA ALBUM

XODIAC released their first single album, ONLY FUN, on October 30, 2023, through Jacso Entertainment. Following their debut earlier that year, the South Korean boy group introduced a bright, energetic concept celebrating youth, freedom, and the excitement of making unforgettable memories. With its colourful visual direction and upbeat K-pop sound, ONLY FUN highlights a playful side of XODIAC, showcasing the group’s youthful energy and growing musical identity. The single album includes two tracks, combining a bold, catchy pre-release song with a lively title track designed to capture the feeling of a carefree night out.

The album opens with “LEMONADE,” which was released ahead of the single album on September 5, 2023. Its punchy, quirky production creates a vibrant atmosphere, giving the track a distinctive edge through its strong beats and confident delivery. The title track “ONLY FUN” takes a brighter, retro-inspired direction, drawing on cheerful dance-pop and lively rhythms to evoke the excitement of a party. Its infectious chorus, energetic instrumentation, and lyrics about dancing, freedom, and enjoying the moment create a feel-good anthem that contrasts with the sharper sound of “LEMONADE.” Together, the two songs demonstrate XODIAC’s ability to explore different moods while maintaining a lively, performance-focused style.

ONLY FUN established an important early chapter in XODIAC’s discography, presenting the group’s versatility through the contrast between its two tracks. The title song’s nostalgic pop influences and celebratory message offered a different perspective from the punchier energy of “LEMONADE,” helping define the release’s playful identity. With its catchy melodies, upbeat production, and youthful concept, ONLY FUN is a memorable addition to XODIAC’s early catalogue and an appealing K-pop release for fans who enjoy energetic dance-pop and feel-good music.
