YOUNITE - 빛 : BIT Part.1 - POCA ALBUM

YOUNITE’s fourth EP, 빛 : BIT Part.1, was released on May 17, 2023 through Brand New Music, marking a new chapter in the group’s music after their initial YOUNI series. The Korean title “빛” means “light,” reflecting the EP’s bright and refreshing direction. With a mix of energetic dance tracks and softer moments, the release presents a more developed side of YOUNITE while maintaining the youthful energy that has been central to their identity.

The title track “WATERFALL” combines a refreshing melody with an energetic rhythm, creating a bright summer atmosphere that suits the EP’s concept. “ICY” takes a cooler and more playful approach, while “LOOK AT THE TV” brings a more rhythmic and upbeat sound. “TRIP” offers a lighter and more relaxed mood, and “SLOGAN” adds another energetic performance track to the release. The songs move between refreshing, playful, and more relaxed sounds, creating a varied tracklist connected by the central idea of light and youth.

빛 : BIT Part.1 marked YOUNITE’s return with a new musical chapter and showed the group continuing to develop their sound after their debut year. The EP allowed YOUNITE to explore a brighter and more refreshing concept while maintaining their focus on energetic performances. As the first part of the BIT series, the release also laid the foundation for the group’s next chapter and gave YOUNIZ a new collection of songs to enjoy.
