NMIXX - Strange Muse - SAGA Version

Strange Muse is the group's sixth mini album, set for release on October 19, 2026 through JYP Entertainment. Arriving approximately five months after Heavy Serenade, the six-track EP introduces a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere for NMIXX's autumn comeback, with the group exploring themes of attraction, confidence and individuality through a mix of full-group and unit tracks. Led by the title track "Birthday Wish," the release presents a new side of NMIXX while retaining the distinctive energy and versatility that define the group's music.

The album combines three full-group tracks with three unit songs, giving each pairing its own musical spotlight. "Birthday Wish" leads the release, while "Kerosene" and "RudE TaLK" continue NMIXX's group sound. The EP also marks NMIXX's first unit songs since debut, with Lily and Haewon joining for the moonlit "Sing to the Moon," Sullyoon and Bae bringing a more confident energy to "Hot 'n Unbothered," and Jiwoo and Kyujin teaming up for "WHIP." All six members participated in writing their respective unit tracks, with Kyujin also contributing to the composition of "WHIP" and Bae contributing lyrics to "RudE TaLK."

Strange Muse arrives as NMIXX continues an active period following Blue Valentine and Heavy Serenade, further expanding the group's musical range ahead of their first world tour finale. NMIXX recently received three awards at the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS, including the Sound of the Year grand prize, their first daesang at a Korean music awards ceremony. The group will also conclude their first world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER, with three encore concerts in Incheon from November 27 to 29, adding another major milestone to the era surrounding this release.
