Ascend- is the sixth mini album by South Korean boy group ZEROBASEONE, released on May 18, 2026 through WAKEONE. The project marks the group’s first release as a five member lineup consisting of Kim Ji Woong, Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae and Park Gun Wook following major lineup changes earlier in 2026. Positioned as a new chapter in the group’s career, Ascend- was introduced as a symbolic release focused on growth, reinvention and moving forward while maintaining ZEROBASEONE’s core identity.

The album blends contemporary R&B, dance pop, pop rock and hip hop influences into a polished and energetic project that highlights the group’s evolving sound. Led by the title track TOP 5, the release explores themes of ambition, confidence, self definition and progression through dynamic production and performance focused arrangements.
