IVE - Looks Can Kill - PETIT-IVE Version

IVE return with Looks Can Kill, a six-track mini album scheduled for release on October 26, 2026, through Starship Entertainment. Following the title track’s advance release on October 19, the project introduces the group’s “Girl Hero” concept, expanding their fantasy-inspired world through a superhero spin-off. Its central idea is a presence powerful enough to command attention immediately, connecting IVE’s familiar confidence with the possibility of inspiring courage and ambition in others.

“Looks Can Kill” builds from rhythmic synth pads into heavy bass, dynamic drums, and layered electronic production. The electronic dance-pop track channels an assertive mood, with a contrasting bridge leading into an explosive final chorus. “Mirror Mirror,” “SNAKESKIN,” “CRUMBS,” “Girls Girls Girls,” and “Glow Motion” complete the collection. REI contributes lyrics and rap-making to the title track, while GAEUL and LIZ participate in writing “CRUMBS.” Closing track “Glow Motion” features composition credits from Zara Larsson, Margo XS, and Cecile Believe.

Arriving after the full-length album REVIVE+, Looks Can Kill gives IVE’s ongoing visual storytelling a new setting. The title-track video moves between a superhero production and the world outside its film set, exploring the members as both performers playing heroes and figures whose influence reaches their listeners. For DIVE and collectors following IVE’s discography, the mini album brings together that cinematic presentation, member songwriting contributions, and six songs within a distinct chapter of the group’s work.
